SANCORP contributes to the insider threat community through research. The Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA) published a white paper today entitled “The Need for Transparency on Insider Threats: Improving Information Sharing Between Government and Industry” to which SANCORP contributed its expertise. The paper makes four key recommendations that would lead to more effective monitoring of insider threats:

Clarify what information can be shared under the law.

Issue clear policy guidance directing maximum transparency.

Pass section 502 of the senate’s fy2022 intelligence authorization bill [s. 2610].

Streamline information-sharing procedures.
